Costa Rica Collection

Guanacaste is one of the world's five blue zones, and the collection sits where the dry forest runs down to the Pacific. Three estates operate together, so a group can take one house or the whole collection depending on headcount — which makes it unusually flexible for a host whose numbers are still moving.

Practice happens on covered decks open on three sides. Howler monkeys arrive at first light whether or not the schedule allows for them. The kitchens work from a garden and from producers within about twenty minutes, and the surf breaks are close enough that an afternoon session does not eat the whole day.

It suits yoga, wellness, women's circles and anything where the intention is to get people genuinely out of range of their ordinary life.
